Whānau

What started out as weekends at the markets has steadily grown into a full-time whānau run business.

Having a young whānau of our own we wanted the ability to determine our own future and to cherish moments with our tamariki whilst making a living through our passions and skills we both have developed since childhood.

Step Back in Time

The Little Shop of Taonga is a predominantly toi Māori based kaupapa, as creatives this has given us and our artisans the ideal way to learn about our whakapapa and history through the tools and taonga we create and promote.

Sustainable Practices

We as a business believe in keeping sustainable work practices when gathering resources whether it be harvesting harakeke or collecting stones or driftwood along the beaches or in life in general.
